Yes, there's the cost of having the appropriate equipment, high quality chemicals, and high quality floor finishes, and of course, we have them, but that's not what I’m referring to.
I'm talking about the deeper cost.
I'm talking about the cost of dedicated focus, of hard physical on your hands and knees type of work, of acquiring knowledge, and an acute attention to detail.
And the drive to do it again and again until you can get it right.

Floor finishing is an art.
Like any art, with a little instruction you can get some results, but it takes years of practice and a dedication to excellence, to be professional at it.
A five year old can draw a picture, but they can’t draw like Michaelangelo.
The excellence is in the details, the prep work. Getting the floor clean and ready to apply the finish.

So yes, we have the large propane machines to strip the floor finish from large open areas, and the smaller electric scrubbing machines for tighter quarters, but it's the willingness to do the detail work with a scraper and a mop that takes a floor finishing job from average to professional.
